Take part in video game research

Welcome the Negotiations of Play.

Video games have rapidly evolved in the last two decades. Today’s video games are a constellation of games, platforms and genres, which 7 out of 10 Australians play making video games a well-established favourite Australian past-time.

Thank you for taking part. The online survey is now closed!

The online survey for parents and caregivers of children between the ages of 4 and 12 in Australia was online between August 2015 and October 2016. Over 140 people generously filled it out. By the end of 2016, those who expressed an interest in being interviewed will be contacted and we very much look forward to the next phase.

If you have ANY questions, you can contact me here by email or on Twitter here.  Thanks! This research is being undertaken by Department of Media, Music, Communication and Cultural Studies, Macquarie University, to find out more about how families discuss, regulate and negotiation playing games and related media.
